FULL Mushroom Cultivation - Outdoor Species (Berkeley)

This class is FULL. Join the waitlist here.

What You'll Learn

We'll be discussing cultivation techniques for species such as psilocybe, shiitake, turkey tail, lion's mane, reishi, and more!  The techniques you will learn can be applied to many other species.  We will demonstrate how to make an outdoor blewit patch.  We will also guide you through creating your own cultivated oyster kit to take home and enjoy.

We will cover some of the primary growing media, such as straw, woodchips, and logs. Others we can discuss are grass clippings, leaves, compost, and agricultural byproducts.  Learn how everyone, with even minimal outdoor space, can cultivate fungi for food, medicine, and as more holistic gardeners.
