Nov Urchin (Uni) Foraging (Sonoma Coast)

Save Kelp, Eat Urchin!

Join us at sunset for a sea urchin foraging class, where we will help remove some of the overgrown sea urchin population - so we can eat them! We will teach you how to find, forage, open, clean, and enjoy this incredible delicacy. You may have heard it called “uni” in a sushi restaurant, but it’s SO much tastier when it’s fresh. Eat them fresh on the beach, or take up to 35 home to share with friends and family. Learn how humans can be a helping hand to restore balance to the intertidal zone. Requires a CA fishing license.

Nov Class Dates (not a series)

    • Sun, 11/22 at 2:30 pm

    • Mon, 11/23 at 2:30 pm

    • Tues, 11/24 at 2:30 pm

    • Wed, 11/25 at 4:30 pm

Note: These are ALL Thanksgiving Week - bring a visiting friend or family member to experience the magic of the Sonoma Coast Sunsets!
