What You Will Learn
Join storyteller and basketweaver Jerry Falek and learn to make your own 8-inch ribs-style foraging basket made from reed in this half-day workshop. Designed with a sturdy oak frame and comfortable handle, this classic style is perfect for gathering mushrooms, berries, or garden herbs. You will walk away with a functional, hand-woven basket to bring on all your future foraging adventures. No prior experience necessary; all materials are provided.

About Jerry Falek, your instructor
Jerry Falek (he/him) For more than 50 years, Jerry has created visual and performing arts programs for children and adults that foster wholeness in our fractured world. He was a clown for 25 years, a puppeteer with puppets that have disabilities for 35, and still works as a storyteller. He loves teaching basketry and also bakes really good bread.

These programs are very popular and often fill up very quickly. We encourage you to register right away if you'd like to attend!
You will receive a registration confirmation once we've received this form + your payment + your signed liability waiver. Our programs fill up quickly, and we cannot hold your spot until we've received all 3. If you submit your registration in the evening or on a weekend, it may take us 12-24 hours to send the confirmation.
This class is capped at 15 participants.
If you register and can no longer attend, you can gift or sell your ticket to a friend. We are not able to offer refunds.
