A Ritual and Guided Journey Into the Ancestral Realm

You’re invited into a ritual container that begins with an invitation for self-study with some suggested resources.  What regions are your ancestors from, and what might they have foraged for food and medicine? The ritual then builds on the knowledge and transforms into embodied wisdom about your ancestors in a life-changing experience of deep connection that leaves you wanting more.

This is the quintessential ritual workshop covering the who, what, when, where, why, and how of building a connection and practice with your ancestors.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Prepare to be seamlessly guided through prayer, meditation, teaching, ritual, and group discussion as we explore ancestral connection and put what you learn directly into practice. 

Before we gather:

You’ll have the option of talking with living family members and using online resources to discover where your ancestors lived and what foods are foraged in those homelands.*

During our ritual:

• Share with other participants what you learned from your pre-research

• Learn the foundations of connecting and communicating with your ancestors

• Create your own personalized Ancestral Meet & Greet Container

• Participate in a guided journey into the Ancestral Realm to meet and speak directly with your Well Ancestors

• Explore your lineage and how you and your ancestors can support one another

• Bless your lineage

• Feel the support of your Well Ancestors cheering you on

*Note that this is a single-night gathering, and we acknowledge this process of learning about your ancestors can become a long-term journey. The intention is to open a pathway for you to start learning, or continue learning from a new perspective. Then, if you wish, continue beyond the evening we spend together.

A journal • Water bottle • An item representing your ancestors for our communal ancestral altar • An ancestry-themed snack for yourself and/or to share • Optional: swimsuit (there is a hot tub for after the ritual)
