Alonzo “Lon” Henderson

Alonzo “Lon” Henderson is a geographic mongrel who’s fully explored nature everywhere he’s been—resident in four countries, three continents, and multiple states—and is nominally retired.  His favorite job was serving in the US Forest Service as a District Ranger and all the incredible in-between jobs leading up to being a senior federal land manager and firefighter.   Lon had also been a business owner and a career Army officer.  He has multiple degrees and no student debt.  When not building something, Lon spends his time with his partner foraging mushrooms, learning botany, and asking questions.
