Brett Anne Balamuth

Brett Anne Balamuth (she/her) is a bioregional explorer, educator, and artist with a lifelong relationship to Bay Area lands and waters. With roots in wildlife biology and nearly two decades of hands-on experience, she works at the meeting point of ecological stewardship, ethical harvest, and community care.

Whether free-diving for purple sea urchins to support kelp forest recovery or composing ethereal mosaics from the spore prints of local fungi, she invites others into an appreciation of the region’s biodiversity. Her mission centers on fostering joyful community and inspiring a culture that supports all life. She values generative dialogue, grounded action, regenerative systems-change practices, and the simple power of breaking bread together.
