Mushroom Cultivation Classes

Learn how everyone, even those with minimal outdoor space, can cultivate fungi for food and medicine. Our workshops cover approachable and outdoor-friendly techniques for a variety of species like shiitake, turkey tail, lion’s mane, and oyster mushrooms. We'll demonstrate how to create an outdoor blewit patch and guide you through creating your own cultivated oyster kit to take home. We will cover some of the primary growing media, such as straw, woodchips, and logs. By the end of this class, you will have the knowledge and tools to begin your own mushroom cultivation journey as a more holistic gardener.
